The first grade teacher uses the word �boner� to mean �goof� or �mistake.� The correct phrasing of this word happens to be, �pulled a boner.� She tried to give an etymology lesson on the word, but I was the English major. In English, words change meaning � almost always for the worst. Once it means penis, it always means penis.
