Re my latest entry: No - I don't think the teacher was heavy handed but that he wanted my kid to use a heavier hand with those paints. You see my kid didn't paint those little styrofoan balls at all the first time around. Re your latest entry: Yes, all of us have probably been shipped off to the coat area at some time in our life. It's hard for the parent to see it clearly because she sees her kid's embarrassment and it hurts her heart and makes it seem unjust even if it were called for to keep order in the classroom.
