I had to read the first part out loud to Jeff... he didn't think it was as funny as I did, though. You just deliver it so much better in writing than I can do aloud.

I don't think we all lie during courtship. I think we all try to put our best foot forward out of fear that if the person sees the "real" us, he or she will not like us. That said, lying about height, weight, or body type (hint: "athletic and toned" does not mean "biceps and a beer gut") when it is so easily proven a lie just by looking at the person when you meet is unacceptable.
