I agree with everything (and am still laughing at the imposing religion retort, which is excellent and I hope to steal to use in my own everyday life), except... Texas still sucks. In every way possible. I can't even go into it here without crying, so instead I am just going to reread the George Bush/Yoda comparison again and laugh some more.

I heard my local talk radio guys talking about how the Revenge of the Sith had anti conservative undertones and as they were talking about this, I said to myself, "that sounds like a liberal, not a conservative." I can't wait to see the movie.

I guess from your side of the country, GL may seem like MY hometown guy...but he went to USC. I went to UCLA. When he talks about the dark side and the force...well, it is just a metaphor for the USC/UCLA rivlary.
