This entry made me giggle for many reasons. :) But I wanted to share with you that while I was volunteering at the Long Beach Aquarium here is So Cal last year, a student fell in to one of our tanks, during a field trip. It just happened to be a tank full of...SHARKS! OK, yes - they were of the harmless variety, in a shark-petting tank. But still - that kid went all hissy on us! I found the whole thing extremely amusing.

Oh and also? Barbara Boxer is so obviously working toward some kind of run in 2004 (VP maybe?) it borders on the sickening...luckily, she and Liberal I share many positions, so it doesn't bug me TOO much. :) But it's disheartening how much harder our elected officials work when they are either running for re-election, a different office or laying plans to do so. Like, if you don't want to work that hard to begin with, why are you in public service? Needless to say, this doesn't go for ALL of our elected officials...

I have made someone cry in every class I ever subbed in. I got a complex about it at first. Now I wear it like a badge of pride. Sorta. I really don't want them to cry :) I figure these kids must be pampered at home, cuz I am just not that scary :)
