Out in the foothills where my home is my nearest neighbor is a quarter mile away. I never hear them. But about a half-mile away we have our loud neighbors, who bicker long into the night, the volume carrying across the countryside without clarity. I'm sure it's in English, though not the variety I speak to people I like. Understanding your neighbor's loud conversations may just be over-rated...
