I have had some Field trips from hades--hope yours is better. One time we got stranded without a bus. I don't have too many fond memories of taking kids anywhere.Good luck on the dating(and the doughnuts!). I have had friends who met very nice people over the net. One is even married to him.

We used to have a teacher on the staff who routinely left people behind, once a school administrator at a theme park in Pennsylvania, and twice (!) kids at Rockefeller Center at Christmas time. Then they stopped letting her go anywhere. Counting heads on field trips, either school or scouts, has always been a major obsession with me. I once made a troop of 40 Girl Scouts wear hot pink painter's caps at the Museum of Natural History so I could count them more easily in the darkened rooms.
