"The Goonies" is fabulous. I'm going to rent it soon for my kids. First up though, "The Ghost And Mr. Chicken" with Don Knotts.
You would love the Japanese kids here who go through ESL...they speak English better than the rest of us, complete with perfect little Tennessee accents. We all find ourselves trying to emulate THEM.

"The Goonies" is, indeed, one of the best movies ever. Between the Chunk shuffle, Sean Astin (who grew up and made my teeth sweat in "Rudy"), and Data with all of his different gadgets, it's such a classic. I also hated "Gremlins". With the exception of the cute Gizmo, that movie scarred me for life with all of the freaky-looking gremlins.
