How completely disrespectful toward teachers and the youth they instruct. Too bad this person did not have a successful elementary education thus they may never mature passed that level. Unfortunate. Boxx is a fully accredited teacher, who on her teaching salary keeps herself and her daughter together while paying for her son's college. That's how well-educated people stretch their teaching salaries! P.S. If you haven't noticed, I hate when people criticize our teachers.

CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP You left out the delightful threats from parents because *you* caused their child to fail...the same child who cannot write his own name halfway through first grade. Also, be sure to budget half your salary for school supplies and materials direly needed but not provided. Add another quarter of your salary to buy clothing, food, and supplies for severely disadvantaged and/or abused children. Quietly slip in the nightly tears and prayers for the children who come with fresh bruises from momma's latest boyfriend, the stench of not being allowed to bathe, and the astonishing thievery skills honed by stealing books from the classroom to smuggle home to read to tiny neglected siblings. Those who can really hack it, teach.

Teachers have it tougher than any other profession. Not only do you have our future in your hands, but you get bombarded on all sides. Kids...teachers...parents...and burocracy. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Still most teachers are in it for the love of the profession...God bless those of you who take the job seriously and pour your hearts into it.
