We just got hit and are in the tail end of the systems that is going to hit you. It is alot of snow but not as much as they say....the wind is just starting to kick up and it is blowing what fell around into deep piles. That is what the killer will be. All in all...I have seen worse...don't let the weathermen scare you. Go out and build a snowman in the middle of a road or something. Take a picture of it and send it to Nichole. A good laugh will do her good.

We never get it as bad as everyone thinks. I am stocked up with diet Coke. Tomorrow, all the panickers will have to make French toast to use up their milk, bread, and eggs.

I am sure it is not going to be as wicked as predicted (*giggle*). Although it is supposed to swing out to sea south of us and intensify adding a little extra moisture to the fun. I did get extra lunch meat and fancy rolls in case the electricity goes out and oh no! we can't use the oven or microwave.

Oh my goodness, I'm so excited...with joy not worry, about this lovely snow coming our way!!! The cardinals and other birds look so much more beautiful, sitting in the pine trees, with a backdrop of pure white snow. I'm really glad I didn't toss out my leftover peanut butter cookies, because they have those sitting in my christmas tree, outside of course

...and I am wringing my hands fretting about whether or not you might get the snow to end all snows...what will I do, sitting here in Colorado where we are experiencing record highs for January, if you lose power in Connecticut? I won't be able to get my Spiritopias, FortySomething, Captain Ron, or Suburban Island (just to mention a few) fix all weekend if those of you on the east coast haven't any power! I hope you get just enough snow to give you a snow day, but not enough to be an inconvenience.

Send us some of that snow; our ski resorts are all closed because of lack of snow and warm temps. It's been as warm as June around here. (make sure not to send us that much snow though, we can't drive in it very well!)

I can really sympathize with your predicament. Here in Dallas, the temperatures dropped to an ungodly 55 degrees! I can't even go out without a light jacket, and by nightfall they are predicting I'll need a sweater as well! I am definitely going to stock up on bottled water, too, just in case I get thirsty later. Solidarity, brother!!

It's good to be prepared. We made our grocery run last night.
