I'm so proud of you! It is so funny how different you feel after you work out in the morning. I love the feeling, but it doesn't kick in for me until about Thursday now. I like to listen to Shakira while I'm walking, first the English version, then the Spanish, it helps me to learn a foreign language. Or something.

Yup, playlists come in real handy. I dubbed my favorite workout one HOT AND SWEATY. There are way too many songs on it, but a few that really get me going are Elevation, Where the Streets Have no Name & Vertigo by U2, Parallel Universe & Otherside by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rock and Roll & Night Flight by Led Zeppelin, Mixed Bizness by Beck, Don't Make Me Dream About You & American Boy by Chris Isaak, and Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day. Anything with a driving beat is a good choice. Parallel Universe and Where the Streets Have no Name both have this frenetic guitar which drives you faster and faster.

Oh great...it wasn't bad enough that I wrote such a long comment, but then I had the skill to post it twice. Sorry.

Maria by Blondie Mama Said Knock You Out by LL Cool J Fight for Your Right to Party (or whatever the title is) by the Beastie Boys Always by Saliva Where Eagles Dare by The Misfits Burnout by Green Day Californa Uber Alles by The Dead Kennedys Uptown Girls the Me First and the Gimme Gimmes version (pretty much any of the Gimmes works, cause youknow all the words and they are kicked up rockin versions of some really cheestastic music. Its like Sweating to the Oldies on speed. And Yeah if I had to choose between working out with Fat Mike or Richard Simmons, I would choose fat mike in a heart beat.) I don't want to Grow Up by Tom Waits, but you want the Ramones version. (had to give Tom Waits credit cause hes AMAZING) R.A.M.O.N.E.S by the Ramones Back Up Against the Wall by Rancid Spirit of '87 by Rancid Roots Radical by Rancid Whats the Matter with Parents Today by NoFX (another Fat Mike offering) Reach for the Sky by Social Distortion Live Before you Die by Social Distortion Never Again by Nickleback Sometimes I Do by Social Distortion I Fought the Law version by the Clash (hell anyone but the greatful dead would be good) The Guns of Brixton by the Clash ( any of the clash would be good, the reggae inspired punk rythyms are moderate, and funky enough to keep you going.) Pretty Ugly by UltraHorse (they were a good band, I wish they hadn't changed thier name and fallen off the face of the world) Excuse Me Mr. by No Doubt Tall Cans in the Air by The Transplants Diamonds and Guns by the transplants (this is the song in the Garnier Fructis comercial and any song with the phrase "Taking more shots then Karl Malone" is worth a listen) Marie Marie, the version by Lars Fredericksen and the Bastards Do You Remember Rock and Roll Radio by The Ramones Wonderful by Everclear yea! anyway, these songs are all very beat driven.(and also on my Who Wants to be a Fat Bastard? Playlist) P.S. Keep up the good work.
