Maybe the pastor was trying to teach a lesson, like King Solomon. Only there the baby wasn't actually cut in half.

But seriously, I can't believe an adult placed in charge of children would be so stupid. (I mean the pastor, of course.) Hell, even if none of the donuts had nuts on them, they might have some nut contamination from wherever the donuts were made. Man, that's just dumb.

I have a lot of expereince with school, what with a son in college, a daughter who is a junior in high school, and of course my second grader. And even being a substitute, I never really appreciated how hard teachers work though, until I took over my friend's class for a few weeks last year while she was flat on her back. She had only the faintest of plans done, since she had already been gone a week when I came in. And it was before Christmas with all the special things to do and shows to see and parties to deal with, not to mention the overly excited kids, and an autistic child (who was really the reason I ended up in there) who decided that THIS was the perfect time to test all authority and see how much negative attention he could attract to himself. And it was only first grade. At least in first grade, there is a limit to the amount/complexity of work to correct. But there was just never an end to the work. My hat is off to you and to all teachers.

You are a Disciple of Jesus and were able to feed the multitude.....~~~~~Did I read correctly that he is also the Pastor of the Church? I'm still in left field with all the cold medicine. I always make sure I send in more than the amount of students....the shame of not having enough.
