Thanks for the luck on the finals, Caesar! The Spawn-Of-Satan teacher is my teacher no more, but I made an 85 on her stupid final. I wish you were my daddy. I mean teacher. *giggle* Happy Holidays, Augustus.

I am like your room mate, James, needing to study all along and then study some more. You sound like both my boys. Youngest Son shared this discovery with me two days ago: "Mom, you know what? If I pay attention in class, even some of the time, I don't have to study to get really good grades!" Rat fink ... I am happy for him, but it is NO fair. I hope all your student-readers do very well on their finals!

If I were to go back to college now, it would be an entirely different experience. I would study all the way through, not just the night before. Even for all of the dozens of professors I had that give a final project instead of a final exam. I liked the projects better.

I am like you; I tried to be balanced in all things in college. I was also very impatient with people who had to constantly pull all nighters. (poor planning) I NEVER did a single one and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Washington, which is considered a moderately difficult school. I am not brilliant, but have always had good study skills and test taking strategies. (I endeavor to teach them to my students but many of them couldn't give a s**t.)
