We never did the middle of the road thing because right after my driveway the road turned into a dirt road leading to a farm. However, we made the most massive, dangerous, outrageous snow ramps coming off the hill of the farm in back of our property. Hangtime was king, we did not worry about the sleds staying with us! It is amazing we did not do any worse damage to ourselves then a few broken arms and one broken nose (mine). Those WERE the days!
