This sounds very interesting! It could provide many blog stories, Christopher. In grade school, I had a music teacher from an Eastern bloc country who was a stern, scary woman who screamed--ta ta tee tee ta at us all the time. It's a miracle that I still enjoy music after Fanija. Make sure to keep us posted on the concert preps and all the other drama. (not much of that at my school now, but there has been in the past)

I love children in Christmas concerts. I miss having a kid in school at this time of year. Except the one year I searched all over Chicago for a white blouse she had to have for the concert at our local mall. We went out to eat before the concert dressed in the white blouse and right before finishing up and getting to the concert, she reached across the table for a french fry and drug and sleeve of that blouse right through some ketchup. My kid was the one in the red and white blouse. The music was awsome though.

I have attended many holiday concerts at my kid's schools and in the end it always seems to work out. My daughter really didn't care for one of her music teachers because the teacher didn't do a particularly good job with the concerts - bad music choices, kids singing solo who were not ready, and not allowing other kids to challenge themselves. Additionally, she didn't want to go to the trouble of letting them compete in the spring. It really upset the kids. A good music teacher is a treasure!
