Your story about wanting to be fired reminds me of a friend of mine who said he always wanted to get hired at a really horrible job just to have the satisfaction of quitting dramatically in front of, preferably, the whole company and maybe some of the customers. So far he hasn't done it.

I got fired from a job once. I was expecting it...I so hated that job! When I left...I left with a bang and not very lady like at all! I said things that should never have been said, like how grateful I was never having to smell another Amish person again.....
