I must be retarded. As I don't care about sexist language. Should I?

Interesting...does this mean that young children are growing up more open-minded, better educated and with a sense of equality....I love it and am so happy to see at that early grade there is a sense of awareness! When I was young I would question these same things but at the time frame I grew up everyone told me to "not question and don't comment"...well that's sooooo wrong. I'm glad they had the self esteem to actually voice their opinion, cause they are right. btw - love your journal.

I thought the standard proper grammar procedure when a gender is unknown is to use the correct form of "he". Am I that archaic? And do I really care? Equality, hell...I'm teaching my son to hold doors open for ladies and to open car doors for them as well. What ever happened to chivalry? What was wrong with the story being about 3 guys? We don't have to inject "equality" into EVERY FREAKING EVENT.

What the heck IS sexist language? Sally is totally right, by the way. In my feminine opinion...
