I disagree with your view of computer classes not being as important as core corriculum. Once you get up to about high school or so, then yes, I agree. But for elementary school and so, I think they need to be getting an idea of how to use computers and all, since they're such a component of today's society, and surely will become more important. However, I'm speaking as a student who doesn't plan on going into a career in computers or teaching, so I could easily be wrong.
