I agree with so much of what you said. The only problem I HAVE is that gay people already have all the same marital rights as straight people do. Nobody is stopping any gay man from marrying a woman. Nobody is stopping a gay woman from marrying a man. THAT is what marriage is. Man and woman. Period. Nobody must marry. Anyone who is legally free to do so, can marry. You cannot marry a dog, a parent, your child, etc. There are lots of taboos. The biggest was always someone of the same sex...at least until a few years ago. If you were a bit older, you would probably see what a recent things this is, and how absurd it seems in the context of what was always acceptable.
I wish no harm on gay people, and really don't care what people do amongst themselves...but don't try to tell me that one of the fundamental building blocks of society, marriage, can be so easily perverted.
