I quite like the in your face deliverance [insert banjo] he (mike) produces. I really dont think he needs to offer solutions and I dont particularly see much conjecture or fanciful innuendo in his work either, it cant be disputed if they say/do it he does slant his scenes with personal unfairness, but so does Oliver Stone, so does my mum. Looking past the toothless southern morons who always make a Napoleon Dynamite appearance in his films he does get the goods on some top ranking people (Virgins Branson even). And thats priceless, well worth 10 dollars ;) I circumnavigate the globe twice a month and a world view on Americans by other peoples from other nations is not as flattering as M. Moore paints. Right or wrong the American dream is gone in their eyes. Not that I personally comment on it. Its paranoid fact not fiction, however glued to his biases, its a perfect window to Americana which foreigners, right or sadly wrong, giggle at.

You really should go see it, just so we can discuss it. If I send you the money, will you go?

You know, I would go see Moore's stupid movie so I could discuss it intelligently with his supporters but I don't want to waste 2 hours of my life. I simply refuse to support Moore's efforts at all with my 8 dollar movie ticket. Call me narrow-minded. It's okay by me.

Right on! I agree 100%! I hate that stupid fat bastard and I hate the fact that people take him seriously, like he, Michael Moore, is the only with the balls to tell the truth. Give me a freaking break. Have you read Christopher Hitchens review of the movie yet? It's fantastic. It's on slate.com and if you can't find it and want the link let me know. I'm planning and anti-moore rant soon in my diary. Later.

This is why I like you as a writer. You are a voice of reason, a sensible thinker, and a man with an honest perspective. I won't go to see this film because I don't see the film-maker as a person I can respect and because his hatred of Bush has colored his ability to make an honest film that I can view without feeling like I am being indocrinated or watching a propaganda piece. I am sure many people will put money in this fellow's pockets though. I hope that they do some further research on some of the allegations made in the film however and not just take this stuff as gospel. In WWII a film like this would have been perceived as giving aid and comfort to the enemy. I don't know about that but I do think that this film will be viewed by some as a justification for seeing the U.S. in a negative light and as a documentary that is faithful at all times to the facts. That's very unfortunate for all of us.
