Hi! I saw the "jesus from the block" thing and couldn't help but take a look. I saw what you said about "fucked up views" and I wanted to comment, and agree with you -- I think. :) My comment is about free speech -- I will totally thing that someone has a retarded opinion, but I will fight to the bitter end for their right to voice it. I think that's agreeing with you and the other person too, but that's just me bein' random. K,bye RaeLeigh J

Yes, it is odd that everyone says we have freedom of speech but so many times it's really just freedom for the other person to shove their ideas down your throat while you nod your head politely to indicate that you are an idiot for not agreeing with their point of view before. I have friends with many different political perspectives - I don't agree with them all but I respect their right to their political perspectives. I am shocked at people talking about how liberal and loving they are and then talking about hating someone in political office. I see a problem with that. For instance, I was at a conference and a man I know who would tell you he is the kindest most humane individual in the world, a fine liberal who wants to give peace a chance and is avegetarian for God's sake, said to me - I hate Bush. I hope he dies and if he were dead I'd piss on his grave. What? It's almost insane. I think something is very wrong here. I don't know - maybe it's all those vegetables, maybe he gave peace a chance a little too long. But I find it sad and shocking and intolerant and it makes me sad.

the irony of the "anyone but Bush" people wanting him to die is that we'd get Cheney and isn't that a barrel of Conservative, High Cholesteral Fun? For me it is, at least.
