You are absolutely right about the non-openness of Christianity and other religions. I think any God Our Father that just let immortal souls quibble and let like 90% of them just founder and be damned forever would be some wonky Father alright. I mean, didn't he care about the people in China or the Australian aborigines who wouldn't hear about Christ for several hundred generations of people (equally "His Children" as any Middle Eastern person who could hear Christ's word) Anyways, I realize you are arguing from the "I believe in Christ" stance, but really. If all religions disbelieve ALL the other people's certainties (ie 98/100) then I as an agnostic certainly are no less dismissive of religion if I disbelieve 99/100 certainties by adding in Christianity to the rest.Tah!
