i found you through sarah (nypizzas2) and thought i'd offer some insight into your "homosexuality" questions. believe it or not, many people make people's sexualities an issue by: beating/killing them, firing them from jobs, shunning them in schools, disowning them from families, not letting them get married, treating them like second-class citizns, yadda, yadda, yadda--the list goes on. i'm right with you though--why should sexuality matter? it matters because people MAKE it matter. religion makes it matter. society makes it matter. if people would just let people live and be who they are--i guarantee you sexuality would no longer be an issue. it would make no difference at all. until that day comes, it will. i do disagree with one thing you mentioned in your diary regarding coming out to your family and how easy it would be if you were...well, you aren't. and it isn't easy. it can be one of the most difficult things you can do. i've lost many friends and family members with coming out. ok, i've said more than enough. i won't bother you again. have a nice day :)
