Thank you for the parent comment. Parents these days are smoking crack. The Michael Jackson case is a perfect example. Who the <expletive> let's their child bunk up with a suspected child molester????

I agree! What the hell is the matter with parents these days? Mine sheltered me a bit too much, but at least I knew not to talk back to them. They ruled with an iron fist. I am better for it I think.

Holy Moly, you know I agree whole heartedly in regards to your declaration of Parents who are 'Friends' with their children and allow such blatant disrespect to come unchecked from their mouths. My Daugher is 23 years old and it has only been recently that I consider her my *friend* and hopefully, she feels the same towards me. As for your teaching...it is like the role of a parent, unfortunately I feel that is far too much for a teacher too take on...sort of waters down the students educational experience. But, I'm a firm believer in education and more than willing to pay extra taxes...along with the Endowment of the Arts. People moan and groan about those taxes, but in actually, it only means a few dollars extra per person, per years. I shake my head at the protesting of increased taxes for these areas of increased needs. It does after all help in maintaining OUR Civilness as the human race. If they were to forfeit one 6 pack of beer or 8 candy bars a year...that money would reap so much more for Society.
