Yes, you're right. I never appreciated how much my mom knew about keeping things straight and I wish I had her for a visit to help me with some mid-winter cleaning. Re the car: we don't know why this low mileage dodge neon has won such a coveted place in my husband's heart, mind, and garage. We are glad we set it free for a day though!

I understand what you're saying. It's a pity that more people can't stay with their parents for longer. I believe that staying with my parents socially handicapped me. I needed to get OUT! My brother is still there. I think he needs to get out. The world is so big. I didn't really start living until I was out on my ass. It's a shame he is still under their protection and will not learn to do some basic adult things until he gets out. Not all parents are bad though. I say do it if you can. It certainly is cheaper.
