Punched you in the face? That's a good one. Did they actually believe you? At my parents church, they taught us that EVERYTHING happens for a reason, no matter what it is. It is ALL a part of God's divine plan and everything is predestined. I could go crazy thinking about that. God knows everything we're ever going to do. I guess. It's quite a concept for me to wrap my head around. I can just imagine the little boy. I wonder why God would WANT that to happen.....
