Dems do seem to get a pass on off color jokes, racial comments, etc. but I think the GOP gets a pass on all issues moral. It all comes out in the wash, I suppose.

I'm telling you that Hilly is something else. She and her cronies make the Mafia look like nice little school boys. You know she has to be the shaker and mover behind Dean for election. She wants to run and take over in 2008...God help us then. I have a few ideas on what should happen, long before 2007, but Tim has forbid me from expressing those thoughts on the internet, for fear of the SS knocking on our door.

Newt Gingrich springs to mind. He cheated on his wife, divorced her and married his girlfriend. I'm not saying it was ignored but he survived it politically. Strom Thurmond also seems like a good example: so many, many people knew of his hypocrisy and never once called him on it in a way that was damaging to his career. I'll be the first to agree with you that it seems the Dems can open mouth, insert foot with racial comments and pretty much walk away from it. Just my thoughts. Oh, and Anita Hill? Women have been known to put up with sexual harassment in order to keep their jobs and/or advance their careers. Sad but true.

HaHa Newt! His antics were babyish in nature when compared to Monica and the infamous cigar! What about Hilly and her extra-marital affair with the guy who committed "suicide" (yeah, I bet) during the White Water Investigations? People just don't seem to get it....somewhere, somehow, the GOP's and the DEM's have switched shoes.
