Exactly. What is up with that clean hair/dirty hair thing? Why do some have clean hair while others have dirty hair? I too have pondered this. Perhaps it is meant to provide stark visual contrast between the races. Per haps the wood people don't even need shampoo. Maybe they are just that magical that their hair is clean all the time.
