I also felt home schooling was delaying socialization. I feel if there is something that is bothering you about your public school.....then volunteer! As soon as they have another class open up for training volunteer's, I'll be helping 2 days a week at my youngest son's school.

I never understood why parents took their kids out of school. I think it was the "fashionable" thing at the time. I remember when my mom volunteered at the library. It was embarrassing. When I would get in trouble, I didn't get the pleasure of waiting till I got home. My mom was right there to beat the hell out of me. Not that she ever did, but she could have.
