i remember when we took a field trip to the Lawrence Hall of Science as a young child. They had big robotic dinosaurs on display. I bought a balsa wood fossil puzzle thing, like a 3d dinosaur puzzle. I was sure that I would be a scientist someday. It lasted about as long as it took me to get home and shoot the balsa wood dinosaur with a bb gun.
