why iowa mattters
Iowa is central, trend setting and is based off of grassroots efforts.
Iowa is the in the middle of our republic, and I call it a republic because we�re free for the tyranny that so many endure, and it�s central location makes it an good gauge of what the pulse of the entire republic might be. Many trends start on our coasts and move inward, if it reaches Iowa and sticks it�s a keeper. If it�s in Kentucky it�s presumed dead. If you can do well in Iowa you can do well pretty much any place.
The most important part of Iowa�s caucuses is this: they require grassroots organization and that organization doesn�t just exist in Iowa but in the entire nation � or should. If they can get things together for Iowa they also have it together all over the republic. That is why Iowa is important. That is all.
